Stock Picks Recap for 7/20/16

With each stock's recap, we will include a (with market support) or (without market support) tag, designating whether the trade triggered with or without market directional support at the time. Anything in the first five minutes will be considered WITHOUT market support because market direction cannot be determined that early. ETF calls do not require market support, and are thus either winners or losers.

From the report, nothing triggered.

From the Messenger/Tradesight_st Twitter Feed, NFLX triggered long (with market support) and worked great:

Rich's FB triggered long (without market support) and worked:

In total, that's just 1 trade triggering with market support, and it worked great.

Futures Calls Recap for 7/20/16

The markets gapped up, the NASDAQ side was stronger, while the ES filled. We then rallied early and once again, that was about it as we wait for more earnings on 1.6 billion NASDAQ shares. Remember that volume might look better but it is concentrated in a few stocks reacting to earnings.

Net ticks: +7 ticks.

Came into the day short the GBPUSD from the prior session, and that stopped in the money. New EURUSD trade triggered short and stopped. Definitely slow action for summer doldrums, so we remain half size.

The markets gapped down a little. The NQ filled quickly, but the ES didn't until after the close. Ranges were horrible on 1.5 billion NASDAQ shares. Welcome to the rest of July.

Futures Calls Recap for 7/18/16

The markets gapped up, the ES filled, the NQ took off, and volume was horrible. Great money on the Opening Range plays again, but the markets were too light on volume to go nuts beyond that. NASDAQ volume was 1.2 billion shares.

Net ticks: +17 ticks.
