Futures Calls Recap for 11/22/16
The markets gapped up and literally did nothing for the first hour, then eventually drifted down to fill the gaps, bounced back to the VWAP over lunch, and rolled a little in the afternoon on 1.5 billion NASDAQ shares.
Net ticks: +0 ticks.
As usual, let's start by taking a look at the ES and NQ with our market directional lines, VWAP, and Comber on the 5-minute chart from today's session:
ES and NQ Opening and Institutional Range Plays:
ES Opening Range Play triggered short at A and I closed it even at B. Would have worked if you wanted to wait an hour and a half. LOL:
NQ Opening Range Play, we don't take the long at A because we are already short ES and it isn't into the gap. I didn't take the short at B either because things were so dead:

Forex Calls Recap for 11/22/16
Stopped out of the second half of the prior day's play well in the money and then had a small loser for the session. See GBPUSD section below.
Here's a look at the US Dollar Index intraday with our market directional lines:
GBPUSD:
Triggered short at A and just barely stopped at B. Proceeded to work after that:
Stock Picks Recap for 11/21/16
With each stock's recap, we will include a (with market support) or (without market support) tag, designating whether the trade triggered with or without market directional support at the time. Anything in the first five minutes will be considered WITHOUT market support because market direction cannot be determined that early. ETF calls do not require market support, and are thus either winners or losers.
From the report, LIOX triggered long (with market support) and didn't go enough either direction to count (also barely traded volume):
CRUS triggered long (without market support due to opening 5 minutes) and worked:
From the Messenger/Tradesight_st Twitter Feed, Rich's AMZN triggered long (with market support) and worked:
His WDC triggered short (with market support) and worked enough for a partial:
His second AMZN call triggered long (with market support) and worked:
In total, that's 4 trades triggering with market support, 3 of them worked, 1 did not.
Futures Calls Recap for 11/21/16
The markets gapped up, went a little higher, then rolled but didn't fill the gap, then popped up just over the highs during lunch, and then flatlined for the back 3 hours on 1.5 billion NASDAQ shares.
Net ticks: +28 ticks.

A loser and then a better winner (still going) in the GBPUSD. See that section below.

From the Messenger/Tradesight_st Twitter Feed, Rich's ROST triggered long (without market support due to opening 5 minutes) and worked enough for a partial:
In total, that's no trades triggering with market support, which is fine for boring options expiration. First Holiday-day of the year that I can remember that though.
Futures Calls Recap for 11/18/16
The markets gapped up small, came back and filled, and went a little lower for options expiration Friday on 1.5 billion NASDAQ shares, which is horrible for expiration.
Net ticks: +9 ticks.

Forex Calls Recap for 11/18/16
Another dull session, at least on the EURUSD where we had our calls. See that section below.
Here's a look at the US Dollar Index intraday with our market directional lines:
As usual on the Sunday report, we will look at the action from Thursday night/Friday, then look at the daily charts of all the pairs with the Seeker and Comber separately for the week ahead, and then glance at the US Dollar Index.
EURUSD:
No triggers overnight. Finally triggered short at A late and wasn't going anywhere, so I closed at B:

Futures Calls Recap for 11/17/16
A fairly unexciting session again as the markets gapped up a little, didn't do much in the morning, pushed right at the start of lunch, and then went flat for the rest of the day. Friday is options expiration, so if that little push up was options unravel, it wasn't much, and you should expect Friday to be slow. NASDAQ volume was 1.8 billion shares.
Net ticks: +10.5 ticks.
