Futures Calls Recap for 8/7/13

No triggers today again. I wasn't feeling well unfortunately and Mark's call didn't trigger (the gaps have not been filling). Volume was 1.55 billion NASDAQ shares. Hope to be back at it tomorrow.
Net ticks: +0 ticks.
As usual, let's start by taking a look at the ES and NQ with our market directional lines, VWAP, and Comber on the 5-minute chart from today's session:

Forex Calls Recap for 8/7/13

A strange session that stopped us out of the second half of our trade from Monday with a nice gain and then gave us an interesting trigger after some news and a big reversal in the GBPUSD that worked nicely, and we're still holding the second half.
Here's a look at the US Dollar Index intraday with our market directional lines:

GBPUSD:
Triggered long at A, hit first target at B, still holding second half 100 pips in the money with a stop under R3 at C. Note that the Comber 13 sell signal was the high at D:

Stock Picks Recap for 8/6/13

With each stock's recap, we will include a (with market support) or (without market support) tag, designating whether the trade triggered with or without market directional support at the time. Anything in the first five minutes will be considered WITHOUT market support because market direction cannot be determined that early. ETF calls do not require market support, and are thus either winners or losers.
From the report, nothing triggered.
From the Messenger/Tradesight_st Twitter Feed, EBAY triggered long (without market support) and worked great:

AMZN triggered short (with market support) and worked enough for a partial:

TEVA triggered short (with market support) and we closed it flat after a long period of sitting:

VCRA triggered long (without market support) and worked enough for a partial:

AKRX triggered long (without market support) and worked huge:

COST triggered short (with market support) and didn't work:

AAPL triggered short (with market support) and worked big:

In total, that's 3 trades triggering with market support, 2 of them worked, 1 did not, but the other calls were nice too.

Futures Calls Recap for 8/6/13

The call didn't trigger as the market never filled the gap and didn't really even try. Volume was better, but the Levels were tightly spaced due to Monday's poor action, which gave us little room for good risk/reward setups.
Net ticks: +0 ticks.

Forex Calls Recap for 8/6/13

A strange, contained session with about 70 pips of range on the EURUSD and only 50 pips on the GBPUSD. We had no new triggers, but we still have the second half of the long from the prior session on the GBPUSD, and we have moved that stop up twice.
Here's a look at the US Dollar Index intraday with our market directional lines:

GBPUSD:
Stop from the prior day's long which is well in the money is now under VAH:

Anything in the first five minutes will be considered WITHOUT market support because market direction cannot be determined that early. For the first time in a long time that I can remember (except Holidays), neither the calls in the report nor the intraday calls triggered. Nothing happened. Just not enough movement in a 5-point ES range.
In total, nothing happened.
